Poindexters. I have given this consideration and have to go for Madigan. He was the Keith Miller of Australian amateur boxing and took big shots in the pre headgear era. I haven't seen all of his fights but i never saw Spike take a heavy shot well.

Your first sentence resembles a game of chess. Boxing is nothing more than a game of chess. Its been the comparison for 200+ years... the ability to manouvere your opponent to land your predisposed combinations, to be able to enforce your opponent throws the punch you wish for.. to counter...It has never been difficult to manipulate a man, to offer a degree of predictability through my own movements.... thus, with subtle change encouraging the other to throw a right hand lead... or redesign the pattern of thought by hooking in response to a jab.... a thousand basic ways to entice an opponent to miss can be listed... If he thinks just as well, the fight becomes a contest of skills and patience.... boring to witness by the man in the pub, although, a spectacle to behold by a schooled pug..
