I admired it ..it was a beatdown and showed who was the boss.

Anything by Hamed before Barrera I admired too.

Buchanan;s performance against Donato Paduano was a text book boxing lesson.

Yes, a bit of anomaly for Joe but under Frazier's incessant duress, Bugner was forced to fight as you say, and he showed that he could put some steam into his shots. A hard tough fight for both men.

I've always thought that Laing had the natural talent to match most. Where he fell down was his total lack of focus and discipline.

I recall those fights very well. Kirkland was in command all the way then lost concentration, which you do not do if you're in there with a dangerous puncher such as Colin.

Like most universities, UK (aka the University of Kentucky) has students born in many states.

Interesting fact (ok, not really that interesting) but I don’t see your point if there is one.

Wasn't that a newspaper decision? Not saying he didn't win, just asking?

    it was.

i am also suspicious of newspaper decisions but this seemed pretty unanimous.

OK cool thanks for clarifying! If that is the case then this is a fantastic victory and a great pick.
