Yes he did, but to be fair Trinidad's welterweight division was STACKED. DLH, Quartey, Whitaker, Carr.....

 

Tito does not have that much more POWER then ODH..That is ridiculous. He was the more EFFECIENT puncher. TITO threw a perfect left hook high from the shoulder. Its his delivery method along with his power that made him the monster he was. ODH had raw power but didnt turn his punches over like tito did perfectly. Tito was a better puncher, but they had about the same power in the left hand. ODH left hook was quite sloppy most times but he still could put you down or out with it. Like if you look at Mike Tyson..he didnt have more RAW power then every Heavyweight. It seemed that way b/c he threw perfect power punches that were not sloppy and turned them perfectly getting that CLEAN landing that sloppy power punchers like Foreman etc. etc.. could not do.

 

Yeah all those dudes can crack some are heavier handed than others some used speed and accurracy, others have massive thighs to generate power+velocity and accurracy. Funny enough Tito's knuckles and maybe even his hands are around the same size of Wlad's no joke, Wlad's hands are not that large (in comparison to his height) nor are his brothers. Lennox and Hassim hands where similar to bear mitts.:smoke

 

Like I said Shifty some physical traits just play a huge role in punching power. While I agree with your post I still feel Tito had a pretty decent advantage in the power department.

 

Trinidad and Tszyu for mine.

Judah was undefeated and hadn't been ko'ed to that point. Since then he's taken some big hits and shown his chin isn't made of china which shows how big the punch Tszyu hit him with was. Mitchell had not tasted the canvas in eleven years before the Tszyu fight. After it, he was completely broken.

Fighters that come off Trinidad losses just don't look the same. He damages his opponents permanently. Hmm, maybe that's why De La Hoya often picked up the leftovers ??

Naz destroyed a lot of B grade fighters. He had power for sure but I can't rate him because unlike Tszyu and Trinidad he folded in his first fight against a class opponent and didn't hurt Barrera once. He's got too many question marks against him.

I think that in order to be a great puncher you have to also be accurate. There are plenty of guys out there with lots of raw power that I wouldn't call great punchers, like for example, Mayorga, peter, Freitas, miranda

 

I would put Tszyu number 1

 

Probably you should look on KO ratio, then on the most impressive KOs.
