Vasyl Lomachenko's World Amateur Championship Reign in 2011 is arguably the very greatest: W Fazluddin Gaibnazarov W Robson Conceiciao W Domenico Valentino W Yasnier Toledo W Jose Carlos Ramirez W Roala Gaibnazarov = Olympic Gold, World Silver Conceiciao = Olympic Gold, World Silver Valentino = World Gold, Silver, Bronze x 3 Toledo = Olympic Bronze (because of Lomachenko), World Silver x 2 Ramirez = 3 x USA National Champ from 2010-2013 Roala = A KO victory in the first round via body shot. This is at a weight class that Vasyl was very small for at the time. Andre Ward has a very impressive one at Athens Olympics 2004: W Clemente Russo W Evgeny Makarenko W Utkirbek Haydarov W Magomed Aripgadjiev Russo = 2x Olympic Silver, 2 x World Gold Makarenko = 2x World Gold Haydarov = Olympic Bronze (because of Ward), World Gold, Silver, Bronze Aripgadzhiyev = Olympic Silver, World Silver Ward was small for the weight
ur the worst poster on here, you've posted that literally a hundred times and seem literally obsessed with lomachenko, biased as they get
Modern amateur boxing is so worthless what does it matter. Its such a pitty pat slapfest it might as well be two girls on a schoolyard.
The first one that came to my mind was Jose Luis Gonzalez beating both Lennox Lewis and Rid**** Bowe at the 1987 Pan American Games in Indianapolis. Lewis won the gold and Bowe the silver at the 1988 Olympics (Cuba didn't attend). Both Bowe and Lewis became the heavyweight champion of the world and both are in the Hall of Fame. So knocking off both of them in a couple days kind of stands out. Most people never beat TWO future undisputed world heavyweight champions and hall of famers in one tournament.
