    Oh I don't disagree Morlocks, I'm only 31 and will take another 20 years to catch up on many fights past and no doubt in the future.

    I totally agree. Man, it's got me thinking all the time on any great rounds to add before it gets to the round. And I'm not going ahead of schedule because I want to be surprised at each round. Just a lot of fun and thanks again, Pat.

    Sorry you didn’t see it. If you’re on here for hours per day and a thread is sticking around that long, maybe check it out. Especially if it reaches beyond a couple of pages.

    And when you do, you should read it. Because a couple of rounds you nominated did not meet the criteria: it’s COMPLETE, 3-MINUTE ROUNDS. A round that ends in a stoppage before it has expired is not eligible under what I explained as the rules.

    I’ll be sure to consult you for how to name future threads. Thanks for the offer.

    Obviously not around that much. :lol:

    Hagler vs Hearns is a fine choice for Round 1 out of those listed, though.

    I'll try and keep on top of the other rounds.

    Well you seem to think that I was operating this like a business: how many customers can I get through the door!!!

    I was just wanting to do a fun project to help us pass the time when entertainment options are low and some of us have more free time due to the world’s circumstances.

    It doesn’t bother me that everyone doesn’t participate. I’m having fun (and some others seem to be, too), not trying to erect some monument that they can put in the Hall of Fame.

    It seems that this has bothered you more than anyone else, all because you didn’t nominate a first round. Sorry I can’t do anything about that. You know now and you can vote in all 15 rounds and nominate 2-15.

    Why not either participate and enjoy the ride say or say ‘f— it’ and move on?

    If it’s imperfect, I can live with it. I hope you can.

    It was open for nominations for two weeks. And for every other round but Round 1 it's still open.

    It's not about you. There is no 'someone from outside.' Anyone on on the forum can participate.

    Get over yourself.

    Forgive me for jumping in here, but Ra's, you missed the boat on Round 1...live with it. It's no big deal. We have 14 more rounds to go. Instead of sniping at Pat because you didn't see it, join in and let's have some fun. Pat's been very forthcoming to you and all of us and has been taking our nominations. Again, ease up, join in and let's have fun.

    Ra's here are the rules Pat set forth:

    "Ground rules: This fight is going the distance, so each nominated round has to go the full three minutes — so something like the 12th round of Chavez-Taylor I is not eligible. All weight divisions are eligible. And in rounds where the participants faced each other more than once, please specific which fight. Gloved era only."

    So Holt-Torres, Corrales-Castillo do not qualify. Also, I see you just nominated the 3rd round of Hagler-Hearns, which again, doesn't qualify. We are all following his ground rules.
