We move on to voting for the best Round 10 of all time (starting this a tad early with Round 9 voting winding down).

You can check the results of Round 1-9 voting on the master thread (when complete) and nominate Rounds 11-15 here:
    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/let’s-create-the-perfect-fight-round-by-round.648592/

Ground rules: This fight is going the distance, so each nominated round has to go the full three minutes — so something like the 12th round of Chavez-Taylor I is not eligible. All weight divisions are eligible. And in rounds where the participants faced each other more than once, please specific which fight. Gloved era only.

And importantly, this should be about the best rounds not the most historically significant.

Voting will be set to stay open for three days.

    Here are our nominees:

Evander Holyfield-Riddick Bowie I (watch from start)

Taylor won Rd 10, but damn he took a beating that round, Chavez was doing some serious damage.

This is going to be fun. I already have an expectation about which round I think will be the best... so looking forward to having that confounded again!

My memory of that was it was about even but it was a key round in that fight.

Yeah one of them was raking leaves and the other was chopping down the tree.

It was vicious, with Taylor landing more but Chavez landing with more quality shots, Taylor was looking a mess.

With the exception of round 1, this is your best selection yet Sainpat. I picked Bowe-Holyfield I, but Patterson-Chuvalo and Scott-Ortega I are close followers. Each round was out of an epic battle.

When I said each fight was an epic battle, I didn't just mean the three I mentioned, I meant ALL of the ones there were to vote from. They are all epic rounds, none being excluded.

For me, the biggest letdown in this 7 round sequence was Bowe-Holyfield. I saw the fight live on TV, I was in awe of every exchange, but I watch it today and its missing the non-stop action I thought I recalled. The 4 bouts that rose to the top for me was Patterson-Chuvalo, Scott-Ortega, Chavez-Taylor and DeMarco-Akins. And I felt Chavez-Taylor ticked every box for me with DeMarco-Akins a very close second (could possibly have taken it had we sound and high-def video like Chavez-Taylor. My God, there were 4 separate changes of fortune in that one round). 3rd place for me would be a tie between Patterson-Chuvalo and Scott-Ortega. Both, which were thrilling. Loved this round, guys.

You said Bowe-Holyfield 1 was the best but you didn't actually vote for it.

I voted for Bowe-Holyfield, but I'm wondering if the Bowie in the actual list is related to David Bowie? :p:cool:

I thought Chavez won with wiggle-room. Taylor may have thrown a lot, and looked a million dollars doing so, but he was getting hit much much harder and by cleaner, crisper punches.
