Round 4 of James Toney vs Mike McCallum 1. That’s as great of a round at a high skill level as you can get where both fighters not only land big shots but also quickly adapt and countering a counter shot.

Hard to pin point but I imagine rounds of Charles vs Moore would’ve been insane… willing to bet Louis vs Conn would make the cut, McCallum vs Toney and Curry vs Starling are probably safe picks for high skill rounds.

One that comes to mind is SRL vs Wilfred Benitez--some AMAZING technical skill exhibited throughout this fight!

My very 1st thought, Leonard vs Benitez
Is my favorite fight from a pure technical point.
Plus unlike most fights that showcased such high skill level from BOTH combatants, the fight was boring.

I find it fascinating because of the adjustments and insane level of skill displayed. Yes, it ended up one-sided but in to me a very entertaining way.

I have an International Boxing Digest with this on the cover and the story underscores your take that it was boring, so I get that take, but to me it’s riveting. I can’t take my eyes off it and may have watched this fight more than any other start to finish.

    Yesterday
Barrera Morales 1 had some amazing rounds. They were technically very good but probably not the best though

Hopkins-Winky was kind of a boxing nerds fight. Not as good as Toney McCallum granted

I think Mayweather-Castillo is underrated on a technical level.
