From Round 1 to Round 15, which individual rounds stand out for their action?

    Hagler vs Hearns round 1
    Gatti vs Ward round 9
    Marciano vs Moore round 6
    Foreman vs Lyle round 4
    Dempsey vs Firpo round 1
    Ali vs Frazier round 15
Marciano vs Walcott round 1 or 13

^usually the first ones that come to mind / most frequently listed

Id also add the 3rd round of Ingo vs Patterson, the 1st round of Dempsey vs Willard, and the 1st round of Yvon vs Moore.

    Corrales vs. Castillo round 10
    Morales vs. Barrera round 5
    Marquez vs. Katsidis round 3
    Bowe vs. Holyfield round 10

Ebo Elder vs. Courtney Burton round 12 was a classic. I think that fight aired on ShoBox the New Generation

Not necessarily the greatest, but just standing out for their action, round 1&2 from Maidana and Ortiz

Nope. Round 1 always was and always will be Jack Dempsey vs Luis Firpo. Voted in 1950 the most exciting moment the 1st half century in sports.
    I would take Pryor-Arguello 1. Frazier-Quarry 1 1 . Garza-Mesa 1. Mancini-Frias 1. Zale-Graiano 1 1 and Louis-Schmeling 2 1. But Dempsey/Firpo own it.

My favorite round to watch is the birth of the modern.......dempsey...Willard......there were probably so many great rounds never filmed.....from battling Nelson, langford wolgast, etc to brawling Harry greb

Mickey Walker -Paul Swiderski on Kentucky Derby Eve in Louisville. ROUND1 Paul plants a drunken Walker face first into the canvas. Not only does Walker get up but he fights himself sober and has Swiderski running and hangingon the final 3 rds.

Round 6 of Tyson Holy field 1:

Tyson had his first good round in Round 5 and it looked like Holy field was finally slowing down , I think Tyson landed some good body shots...
But Holy came out for Round 6 and had a couple of tide turning fouls against Tyson, one of them opening a cut...
Then Holy field closed the round with a legit knockdown, and it was all down hill from there....
    And history was changed forever

Funny you mention round 3 of Gomez-Pintor. That was a fantastic round and was voted Round of the Year by The Ring in 1982, which was a brilliant year for fights. Not sure it was the best round of that year but it was still outstanding.

Pryor-Arguello round 1 and Mancini-Frias round 1 (KO magazine Round of the Year) - another brilliant couple of rounds from 1982.
