This. And I thought greatest was measured by resume and accomplishmets, that is why Pac has the most votes which has validity.
Whittaker for me. Jones in terms of excitement, but can't give him the nod because he hardly fought anyone who was a threat to him when he was at his best. So yeah Sweet Pea for me. Masterful boxer, fought the best and something people may forget is that he was a tough little ****er too. p.s Heavyweights should always be rated separately in lists like this. Just saying.
I was genuinely shocked when I saw sweet pea hadn't taken it by a country mile. As it stands it isn't really debatable unless you're judging on pure talent but even then i'd argue pea was just as skillful as jones. Too many floyd and pac fans on this site. Go watch pea from 90-99 including his tito fight. On another level really.
Morales & Barrera were greater than Lewis as well as being far superior fighters. Anyway, Whitaker was the greatest since 1990 despite having part of his prime in the 80s, the Whitaker that fought from 1990-1994 was the best of the lot... Chavez a close 2nd. :good
You must be a ******. Whitaker would have fought Cotto and Margarito...especially if Margarito got in his face. He would have never demanded OSDT to fight PAC.
Ehmmm.... its since 1990, not 1980, Tyson was **** from 90 onwards compared to his best days in the 80s.
