Who do you believe had the greatest title run at a weight without changing weightclass or losing in between? I think a good candidate should be Marvin Hagler

Beat Undisputed Middleweight Champ Alan Minter (top fighter who beat plenty of good fighters and was very tough)

Avenged draw with Vito Antofermou (Very tough ex champ, plenty of good wins)

Beat Mustafo Hamsho twice (very tough middleweight who could be a champ in some eras, wins over Benetiz and Cyze)

Roberto Duran (not as best weight but would go on to cause upsets, showed his durabiluty and cut Hagler)

Hearns (not as devastating as at 147 but still a large threat)

Fulencio Obeljames? (future 168 champ and Hagler beat him twice)

Tony Sibson (very tough fighter, not world class but was dominated)

Mugabi (25-0 25 knockouts. While he never turned out to be anything special he was a future champ and put up one hell of a fight. You could say it took something from him)

Juan Rolden (Gave Thomas Hearns plenty of problems and looked devastating in knocking Frank Fletcher out

    What do you think?

You have to throw Louis' name into the mix. He fought a few bums but it was still a very impressive reign.

    Julio Cesar Chavez. :deal

He holds records for most successful consecutive defenses of world titles (27), most title fights (37), most title-fight victories (31), and most title defenses won by knockout (21). Chávez also has the longest undefeated streak in boxing history, 13 years.

    Joe Louis.

Louis made 25 defenses of his heavyweight title from 1937 to 1948, and was a world champion for 11 years and 10 months

But all of them were or are in weak division.

cant believe noone mentioned tyson yet! his time as a champ was scary!

it was sligthly before my time, but ti was that fearsome people were still expecting him to retire holyfield, and then to retire bruno and then to retire lewis.
