Christ, there was me claiming to have become more knowledgeable as I've gotten older and I totally forgot there were three fights. Absolute brain fade, apologies. Brutal, gruelling, draining wars from memory, not a huge amount of skill but a huge amount of will and heart.
Myung Woo Yuh v Benedicto Murillo Like 2 Rock 'em - Sock 'em robots going at it. You cannot but love this 15 rounder. This content is protected
Just came across two overlooked Flyweight brawls that features Jose Luis Zepeda. His fight with Pichit Sitbangprachan has already been mentioned in this thread but he also has 2 other great scraps on video. This guy is just a fun, wild swinging brawler who keeps coming forward from start to finish. This content is protected This content is protected
Also i read that fight Michael Lerma vs Mario Iribarren in Chicago was a very tough .But i can't find it. Alberto Jimenez vs Arthur Johnson This content is protected
Scar, wanted to let you know I did recently watch this! As with most Yuh fights, it was terrific. I lost some of my scoring notes though, making any synopsis I might give incomplete. I had it slightly tighter than you did, giving Murillo one of the early rounds you gave to Yuh. Spectacular pace and action though. Yuh is becoming a real favorite of mine. Interestingly, this was one of two consecutive 15th round stoppages Yuh scored. Can't think of another fighter that ever did that.
You should check out this thread: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/footage-thread-savage-ali-interview-post-terrell.249952/ Rammed with excellent lesser heard of fights.
Thanks for mentioning this underrated fight, had to revisit it. That was an amazing scrap. Myung Woo Yuh is probably one of the most entertaining lower weight fighter I’ve seen alongside his countryman Jung Koo Chang. Still a shame that those two didn’t meet in the ring. What an all out war that would have been.
Speaking of Jung Koo Chang. Some of his best fights that often get overlooked. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected

Thanks, had a lot of fun with it. Reminded me of Wardley vs Clarke. I'll mention two great welterweight fight from 2010, which I rewatched recently, trying to make up my mind which was the best Welterweight fight of that year: 2010-04-16 Denton Vassell vs Lee Purdy 2010-11-27 Gumersindo Lucas Carrasco vs Juan Manuel Bonanni Both can be found on YT.
