On the eye test Usyk is certainly in the discussion. His resume at heavy is a bit short for me to elevate him very high though.

 

Losing 25 rounds in 7 fights against fighters whose status is heavily tied to the present is not a recipe for the GOAT debate. Even the "white HW" GOAT debate.

 

How is Tunney, who had like 4-5 good wins at heavyweight, in the discussion but Usyk who has 6 good wins not?

Thats because no one else in this discussion loses this many rounds. Ali did but he fought in the best era.

 

Wlad used to absolutely boss his fights and he got panned for "being boring" and for "not fighting anybody". Well yeah when you dominate your opponents they tend to look like bums.
