Yeah but the people doing that were wrong. I was one of them. I was wrong. Part of how I came to appreciate Wlad is seeing what came next. A champion beating a new top guy every 6 months easily is the perfect champion. I think I speak for many people when I say I miss that and want that back.

So basically if you dominate your opponents their bums and you're boring. If you have competitive but clear wins against them you're bad for losing too many rounds to them. Like how do you win here lol

Holmes did against his best opponents and he fought a similar level of opposition as Wlad imo

Tunney had dozens of HW wins and beat Dempseyx2 and Gibbons.

A lot of Tunneys LHW feats were relevant HW feats something that doesn't apply to Usyks CW feats.

Cheers I have no problem with that assessment. But I can also appreciate the artistry that Usyk brings to the ring. He's a smaller guy with average power using sheer skills to beat much larger men. That's something.

Part of my problem with Usyk is the whole "smaller guy" thing and acting like its rare. Its really not theres no unprecedented nature to Usyks feats here. Tunney who I just put forward for example is 3 inches shorter than him. Dempsey is the giant killer. Not the giant "beat by 1-2 roundser". Tunney beat the giant killer fairly easy with one very dramatic moment.

Those guys weren't beating athletic SHWs consistently like Usyk is that's the difference. They were beating limbering slow guys who were entirely reliant on their size to win not nearly the same thing. Lets be honest neither Tunney or Dempsey would do well if they fought Usyk's opponents.

Guys from Tunneys era were not Joseph Parker. The lumbering slow guy comes from Usyks era. Usyks the lumbering slow CW carrying too much weight. This is some reverse stuff. Its the opposite. The reason small guys don't do as well now is cause they slow meaning the big slow guy beats the small slow guy.

Weinart is better than Chisora by a fairly signifigant margin.

He beat a washed up Dempsey, once in a ten rounder in the pouring rain, the other time after he was KO'd. It was GIbbons', a lightheavy force, final fight of a long career. Such a record. Dude doesn't belong in the top 50 heavyweights.
