    Oh shame on me!
Mitchell was at the end of the trail and at 5'9" usually scaled around162lbs
McCaffrey was 36 years old, also 5'9" and hadn't fought for 2 years, and he had lost that one to middleweight Jack Dempsey,Dominick usually weighed 165/167lbs.
Sullivan hadn't fought for 4 and a half years and he was a 34 years old, fat, drink sodden wreck.
Choynski was then a light middleweight novice, a local hero no more.

That leaves Jake Kilrain as Corbett's best scalp and Kilrain was really a bareknuckler.
Now, have I told any lies here?

No he wasn't. Kilrain fought over 40 gloved fights, and only 2 bareknuckle fights AFAIK. I think he just wanted to fight Sullivan under LPR rules because he knew Sullivan preferred gloved, and knew the rules could be exploited to drag Sullivan into deep waters. His only other bareknuckle fight was against Jem Smith, who'd also challenged Sullivan to fight bareknuckle (which some suggested was fixed, though I'm not convinced), so they fought bareknuckle for the Police Gazzette title, which finally baited Sullivan into fighting Kilrain under LPR.

I ranked the Choynski win over it due to the fact that Kilrain was out of shape for the fight

Then I stand corrected on that a sole point, and I thank you for informing me. I believe the rest of my post stands on its merits.
