    Ali's idol was Robinson.

    Tyson, and Fenech both idolized Duran.

    Chocolatito idolized Arguello.

    Roy idolized Sal Sanchez.

    Andre Ward, Crawford, and Loma all idolized Roy.

    Kid Paret idolised Kid Gavilan. Kid Gavilan idolised Kid Chocolate.

    I also read that Joe Louis idolised Holman Williams. He was in awe of him.

    Terry Norris was one of those who ended up fighting the guy he'd idolised. Said it was one of the reasons why, after beating the snot out of him in the first two or three rounds, he decided that he didn't want to humiliate Leonard unnecessarily and coasted for the rest of the fight, not stepping on the gas when he could easily have got Leonard out of there a couple of times in the late stages.

    Sonny Liston idolized Joe Louis, Dwight Qawi (I think) idolized Frazier. Trained at his gym, also look at their styles and the same grin (smile) during fights
