Don't know if this has been posted before, but there are a whole lot of cool Harry Greb pics on here. Along with other things like newspaper articles etc, this is for those of you that haven seen this or been to this site.

Thanks M for showing this boxing site of our greatest boxer Harry Greb...
I particulary loved the quote of one of Harry Greb's co-handlers remarks of the FIRST Harry Greb / Tunney bout in 1922 which my dad saw at MSG.
Quote : " Greb spotted the bum [Tunney] 5 inches in height and 12 pounds in weight, and STILL beat Tunney ".
Another co-handler replied, " not only that but an EYE as well " !
This quote sums up our greatest fighter, the Iron City Express....:good:good

Yeah, I don't know if you guys read how the Tunney-Greb fight of 1922 was registered at the AFI, and it also showed a poster of a showing of the Greb-Walker fight at a theatre. There is still hope somebody transferred it off of the nitrate.

'The night of the Greb-Gibbons fight in old Madison Square Garden I

was introduced by good old Joe Humphreys as ready to mee the winner. As

things later developed, it was fortunate for me that Greb won. Though

there is no telling now what would have happened if I had been asked to

meet Gibbons at that time rather than Greb, I believed then that I was

not seasoned or experienced enough for Gibbons. He probably would have

won from me by a knockout.'

do you guys agree with tunney on this?
