Hagler UD's both. Prime Hagler could do anything. The only thing he lacked a little bit was size, (which his reach pretty much overcame), that isn't a problem for him against these two.
Hagler UD over Walker...I will skip the Greb pick and leave it to those who have watched more of his fights than I have.
Given how little footage there is, that'd be nobody then. Unless there are still a few old timers who watched him live that might want to share their wisdom! I think you're right to duck out, Philly. We can't make any kind of comment based on the footage, or lack of, that we have. One thing that I will say, though, is that a lot is made of Greb and Walker's hard-living lifestyles, drinking and womanising. There's an old quote, and I don't know where I read it so, apologies. but I hope someone else can verify it. It said: "Greb did his roadwork running up the stairs of the brothels from the saloon." Those who favour old timers laugh this off and just say, well, he was that tough and that great he could do that. I personally think if he had been up against an elite, skilled fighter who lived and trained like a monk before fights, Greb would have soon realised he couldn't train like that. My suspicion is that the well-trained and conditioned athlete beats the living daylights out of him and sends him back to his own era where you could get away with training like you were headlining Oktoberfest because the sport was still in its infancy and the opposition was limited.
Unless they have a secret stash of film , or a time machine, you've probably seen as much film on Greb as anyone else..... And that's my problem with fighters from that era. No film or depending on the writings of long passed on reporters and corner men that probably didn't see Robinson at Middleweight, much less Hagler. Personally, I believe if what I've read is true about Grebs and Walkers fighting styles, they'd be tailor made for Hagler, and he would cut them in half.
You can watch enough of Mickey Walker, who fought against much bigger men than Hagler. Stop with this hyperbole - Walker looks great on film and he beat HWs.
What I've read about Greb's style sounds like an ultra-powered version of Vito. He didn't exactly cut him in half.
They both stop Hagler. Mickey with body punches and Greb on cuts after truly driving Hagler crazy and kicking his asss thoroughly
What jumbled, bumbling mess of a way to present a poll... Greb outbusies Hagler (70%) or gets clipped, loses his front foot edge and gives up a decision (30%) Walker gets thoroughly drubbed, if not stopped.
