If Tyson was a REAL fighting man he'd go into MMA.

Getting punched in the face for a living, he is entitled to make as much money as possible.

His career only has a few years left.
Why not make as much as he can while he’s still relevant, wouldn’t we all do the same if we could?

This is the pro game of course you go for the money.

That said as long as a Ngannou fight was a 'extra' bout for Fury, that did not hinder the timing of his next defence of the belt (if he beats Whyte of course) then no problem.

Everyone in sport goes for money

What people need to understand is Fury only started raking it in after his 1st Wilder bout with his ESPN contract. He was barely a millionaire after he beat Wlad.

Would have been dead broke if he had to pay his full legal fees Vs UKAD. He almost bankrupted them.

Now he can make AJ money for single fights with one off deals.

Boxers raise one another if the division was empty none of them would make money. It's an unspoken agreement that you both work to sell a fight...Whyte looks like he's trying to weasel out of that right now.

Broadly agree but why would Whyte get into a slanging match with Fury? Surely it's a better strategy for him to be silent as he won't win that exchange. At the end of the day the fight is in the ring and not contested over who talks the most shyte on Twitter.

Isn't Ngannu tied up for a year due to his UFC contract?

I wonder if he would fail a drug test if he drank one of his own nasty energy drinks that he has begun selling?

Obviously Fury would beat him fairly easily in a pure boxing match, but how is Ngannou a "fraud"?

Hopefully the fight doesnt happen anyway. Both of them are world champions actively in their primes in their respective sports. No point wasting time on circus BS.
