You are right to a point.

But, as much as you hate it, Green is a role model, and reality is, he's not that bad at.
As already mentioned, he's made some **** ups to, but for the most part he's seen upon as decent.

A lot of the young folk that are causing the trouble will look up to him.

His words weren't so bad in my eyes, he's just old school.
Don't forget, political correctness has taken things too far, so the hint of a good kick up the ass may not do any harm.

Not the kinda role model id want my child to look upto sox's. If Perth is full of bogans then fair enough. Whopper has raised some VERY valid points that just get brushed aside, which is quite sad really. History will reveal the true Danny Green eventually, no matter how much you polish up a turd its still a turd.

I take news stories with a grain of salt, so none of us know what really happened.
So Greens the first boxer to fight an easy target?

In any case, if the opponent was willing to fight, and it was all sanctioned, who are you to question it?
FFS TC, that's pretty rich coming from you with so many allegations about you doing the wrong thing from people.

I'm not here to tell you you're a ****, but you know what they say about people in glass houses, aye.
Half the friggin country is full of bogans. That's the OZ way.
    No he hasn't.
    I doubt it very much.
As I've said, Green is mostly very popular.
In fact, it's very likely only a tiny tiny percentage of boxing enthusiasts who likely know about the wrong doings of Green in the ring.
And besides the Briggs fiasco, they're not even that bad.

That's got to be one of the funnier suggestions. Ecto 55 swore it on his life.

Who would you want your children to look upto as a Role model, Danny Green or Geale?

Huge comparison between the two isnt there, hope u get my point now. Much better people to look upto as a role model than Danny Green. Most boxing fans dislike Green, its only his perth bogan fans who like the guy. He gave AUS boxing its biggest black eye in yrs and was exposed for fighting constantly at Dannyweight and calling himself a 4 time world champion. The guy got beat by Mundine, said it was all fair, best man won then he did a flip flop, he flip flops on just about every issue he has raised. Soft part of the skull, Mundine irrelevant, NSW boxing going to get sued, wouldnt come out of retirment for any amount of money etc. The list goes on.

Your point is ridiculous, because you are comparing a statement that one boxer has made, to another guy who has made no such statement. You are the perfect example of a bogan so i have no idea where you get off making such generalisations about a whole city, when daniel geale comes out and scolds younger society for the same thing then we can make a comparison between the two, untill then it is a pointless example. :hi:

No, ecto came on here and told some long winded convoluted story which has him or one of his mates seeing green charging a kid for his photograph or signature, it was the ramblings of a mad man.

    Geale for sure.
But it's not about who's better, it's simply about whether Green is worthy or not.
I maintain he is, to the masses.
I do, of course I do, I'm Geales number one hugger, and don't you forget it!

But as I said above, that's not my point.
Sure, but there's also much much worse.
    I disagree.
Many boxing fans dislike him, but certainly not most.
However I would say most of the public like him.
Yep, we get it. With Briggs. No one is denying that.
    **** happens, move on.
Yeh ok, that sucks a bit. But it's not like he's the first to do it, and nor will he be the last.
    It's also not a crime.

You need to put things in perspective.
Claiming you're 4 time world champ, when you're really just a paper champ is not really comparable to shooting someone in the street.
Should you be talking about flip flopping? I mean really.
Again, how many other fighters have done this. This is nothing new.
