Green fight card......anybody?

I love those pat-the-body type searches at the door.... normally encourages me to purchase numerous tickets and line up half a dozen times!!!!

**** me dead... its a boxing match, not the customs lounge at the airport.

They must be afraid that someone might smuggle in some decent promotional ideas, or a worthy opponent.

 

Fairly certain he got a 9 count. Why you would let someone fight on from that is beyond me

 

I was there last night...& to be honest the handling of the hard knockdown in round 9 by the ref was terrible in the Asiku vs St Clair fight.
St Clair couldnt even stand upright & if Asiku landed a huge bomb after i would have laid the whole blame on the ref.

 

I daresay the extra security was based on the previous bikie presence at Greens fights in Perth, and the increased bikie war activity that's been taking place since that H.A. got beaten to death at Sydney airport.

 

I'd also lay a huge amount of blame on his corner. He was trailing badly, doesn't have a knock out punch. They could've stopped it before the 9th.

 

Yes they too could be blamed.
He looked very punch drunk on the way back to the dressing room after the fight as i spoke to him.
Personally i dont think Gairy has anything else to proove...i think its time he considers calling it a day on his fine career.:deal

Sometimes explained away, justifiably or otherwise, when world titles are at stake. But hey, I'm with you here. What's the point of having the guy maimed or perhaps worse!

 

If the suggested Taylor bout goes ahead (why bother??), did TeamGreen make any comments of anything else happening in the short term??? Or will Green spend the next 4 months getting older and reminissing on the marvelous adventure he had last night???

All i know is not much decent women would encourage their 35-36 year old bloke to keep fighting..

I have said this over and over again,Green is a grub in the same mould as Mundine trying to continuely milk the ozzie publics hardearned...

First he talks it up and then come fightnight gets owned by the Mouth Mundine.Then blames all kind of **** like hes the only fighter in the world to come into a key bout less then 100% healthy(mentally and physically).

Throw in him winning a title against a bogus champion and his sudden retirement before his 1st defence against a somewhat dangerous opponent.

The returnto the ring was just the icing on the cake for the grub that is Danny Green.
