I can't believe someone is trying to defend this fight.

It was clear that Briggs would never be able to compete, and what's more, he couldn't even gain medical clearance for the fight. It is absolutely disgraceful to me that Danny, and Briggs himself for that matter, would risk totally destroying a man's mental capacity/function in order to make a buck.

With the above in mind, a terrible fight was always going to be the outcome, irrespective of whether Briggs took a dive or otherwise. It's kind of sad, because Australian boxing has degenerated even further as a result of this pathetic bout.

 

I bet Mundine wishes he fought RJJ and why is Green being blasted for fighting RJJ, Green was seen as a tune up for the Hopkins fight no one gave him a chance.

 

Even after that debacle the other night theres no doubt Greens career has been less manipulated and he has earned much more more credibility,Mundine has almost always and still continues to line up Patsy's.!!!
