Blah Blah Blah. He did not apologise because he was wrong. All the dumb ****s who do not know history and who have no understanding of the situation (read IBM and CHB prime illustrations) started saying he supported the terrorists.

If you bothered to read the transcripts you would notice that he apologised if he offended anyone by his comments. He did not apologise for being wrong.

It is funny because even 10 years later these same dumb ****s are still uneducated and still arguing the same points even though clearly there opinions are ill informed/racist/biased against Mundine.

 

And yes the uneducated/lack english reading comprehension skills are an accurate description of IBM and CHB. It has take you 10 years and you still don't get it.

 

ah, the last straw in an arguement. you know someone is suffering whenthey start claiming racism in an argument.

lionel rose was loved by the boxing public, in what was a much more predominantly white australia. mundine is hated in a much more multicultural australia.

it has nothing to do with race. it has to do with mundines mouth. he just never delivers what he states.

he insulted the yanks on 911, called himself boxings bradman before he'd ever done anything, etc, etc.

people are just fed up with his big mouthing ****. aussies dont like skites. however, if someone goes out and does what they predict they will do, we'll accept that as confidence. mundine mouths off, and doesnt deliver.

he answer ur question, u forget ur own move and then u scold him.... bit strange, its usually courteous to answer qu.

is it possible that he was taken out of context? Definately.
Could one half quote be inflammatory? definately.
did he mention historical context? yes.
If anyone is drifting from subject matter it is u irnie. everything we have said is in relation to what was said in that interview. all u have provided is a danoz direct testimony that u watched it.

 

face it. mundine is disliked by the australian general public. people have made up their own minds as to why. you can debate those reasons, but you wont win him any fans.

he is at the end of his career. he will be remembered the way he is thought about now......history will not be kind to mundine.

 

i will not argue personal opinions with anyone.
hypocrites is an entirely different matter. Especially ones as bias, arrogant, ignorant, possibly racist and apparently righteous as chb and irnie.

 

you may debate those two as to why they post what they do, but dont try and generalise that race is the reason people dont like mundine. which is what you are trying to do.

 

Other then that "racist" part i had in the last comment where have i said that.
I'd also be interested to know the majority cultural backgrounds of each fan base.

Ur right everybody loved lional. But his situation was a bit different. Everyone loved him after he beat that japanese fella when tensions were high. He was also a lone figure in his camp if u get wat i mean.

how does that work. think about it 1 + 1 = 2. so it's both sides.

But i also think that there is a subconscious reaction to ppl like mundine which can be argued racist/ not racist to varying degrees.

but i dont really want to get into arguments like that.

 

mate, get over it. its not racism that caused people to dislike mundine, it was his mouth.

turning muslim is a benine factor in my opinion, as many people actually realise that muslims are pretty hard done by. muslims didnt invade anyone. but thats another topic.

 

Hmmm I never said racisim was the main factor, just one of the factors. I said people got pissed off because they are ignorant/uneducated about the situation. It is sad that after 10 years dumb ****s like CHB and IBM are still ignorant.

 

there is no 'situation'. and people arent stupid. people form opinions from a variety of life factors, experiences, moral compass, etc. mundine lost support due to his own behaviour. dont generalise about 'everyone' when debating with CHB etc, because you dont know if they are giving you real reasons, or if they are winding you up.
