Where did Mundine/myself or anyone else say that we agreed with the acts of the terrorists. Understanding why they did it (because of all the history you are ignorant of), is not the same as saying we agree with what they did, you ****wit. theres a difference between understanding why they did it and conveying your thoughts on the matter to be sympathetic with those involved in the bombings, which is what the majority of people took from mundines comments, quite rightly in my opinion. its not a matter of whether he or you or anybody else agreed with the acts, he displayed his opinions on the matter at a very sensitive time, and these opinions were seen to be insensitive and inflammatory by the large majority, which does not include yourself obviously. And just because mundine is of the muslim faith it doesnt make him an authority in any way shape or form, he , and a large proportion of the muslim faith are so far detached from these zealots and fanatics that they shouldnt even be associated with them. Its like associating a common churchgoer with the westboro baptist church because they both believe in the bible

 

Hey if the majority of people make up their minds from a one line sound bite from a tabloid tv show, it is their problem, not mine. They are fools like IBM & CHB.

If you asked George Bush if he understood the reasoning behind the acts, he would have said yes. Does that make him a terrorist hugger? Exactly it does not. The morons jumped to the conclusion that Mundine sympathised with the terrorists when he never said such a thing. In fact a few hours later he stated uncategorically that the terrorist acts horrified him and he did not support such actions in any shape or form. Why are these ****ing morons still harping on the one line when it is quite clear to anyone with half a brain that Mundine's position was clearly the opposite from the impression give on the Today show?

See i disagree when you say that everybody understood the reasoning behind the attacks, the reason why these attacks were so shocking and created such a wave of fear and terror is because the large proportion of people couldnt comprehend the reasoning behind such a horrid attack on such a large group of innocent people, when mundine came out and stated that he understood the reasons behind the attacks, people saw him as being heartless and detached from emotional understanding, because at that time , because the attacks were so successful in breeding this fear and hatred into the western world , mundines comments were seen to be inflammatory and sympathetic towards the muslim extremists, that is why he was forced to come out and explain his actual position, he may not have intended to cause controversy with his comments, but he did. However this topic is one i dont intend to get dragged into so thats my two cents worth
