It really is a nothing article and just drumming up business and ticket sales.

C'mon mate it's a joke talking about Danny's best 5 fights in Perth. It's hardly a Tommy Hearns list is it.

 Give him a break he is from Perth. He's got to try and curry favour with the locals so they turn up to this his last fight in Perth no matter how abysmal the opponent is. What better way than to relive the ''highlights'' of his fights there.

yes but it's part of the reason he has been so financially successful, because he markets himself intelligently to the public and his intention is to try to evoke emotions in the general public to generate ticket and merchandise sales.

Anthony Mundine and the publics hatred of him are the reason he's financially successful.

this is true, but generally, the opposite is the case for green, well it is in western australia anyway. I think the financial windfalls for both of these guys has started to dry up a bit though

It looks like it, but gee haven't they both had a good run of it.... Mundine woulda made more money id say but Green has doen exceptionally well, he was pretty much an un kniown, Choc had his league and the publics hatred for him before he came into boxing, But Green didn't have those adavntages.

And at the risk of the Green fans coming in and tearing me apart.... He didn't really have any of the skills that warranted him making teh kind of money he has, or being as succesful as he has been, Just goes to show that Good Marketing and a BIg heart does a long way.... Dont get me wrong, he obviously has solid skills and got better after his first retirement but i never thought he was a worl beater, he has done very very well considering.. Good on him I reckon.
