It seems the reason why the Green-Hopkins fight isn't happening is because of the money split. Green is an older fighter and he wants what he feels like is his fair share of the money. I can't blame him. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure Bute would not care about only getting 40% of the money to get a fight with Hopkins. I'm also fairly confident there is just as much money in a fight with Bute-Hopkins fight then the Green-Hopkins fight. So now with Green out of the picture. I only hope Hopkins won't start talking about a Roy Jones fight again. Now that would suck balls. lol I think a Bute-Hopkins fight would generate interest. It might need a bit more hype before it gets made but I think it can happens in 2010.
