Seems the media, who for too long relied on Mundine for headlines and pandered to him bull**** and all, are now judging him on merit.

Congratz to Green....he should get all the media.

  5. Hope this is a a good wakeup call for AUstralian Boxing. You arn't 'the man' by being mediocre.

  6. It's annoyed me that Wiedlers said that. Everyone can have an opinion but as a credible sports writer he be a professional and should stick to his own realm.

What the **** does Wiedler know about boxing you think? Rekon he could hold his own in the general forum or the classic forum? I wouldnt think so

Pretty sure mundine named himself the man,and not the media.
They just write what he is known as.

Unfortunately when boxing becomes more popular it means we will have more and more people who dont know **** about the sport having there say.

Since Green won it seems everyone has become an expert on all things boxing but I'd gladly put up with it if it means boxing is on the rise in this country.
