There was a snipet in the Melbourne Herald Sun this morning that quoted Green as saying he may never actually return to the ring himself - sounds like his medical condition has been a huge set-back.

I've been a critic of some of Danny's media antics in the past, but if he's committed to this and follows it through, props and respect where it's due. Top stuff! :good

knowing that angelo hyder has a good set up at wyong, which is being run now by mark perry and matchmaked by pat kennedy (who does the under card for green ppv as well) , it could be a partnership in the making with hyder expanding his network from state to state and and danny green has a strangle hold on WA, i would like to see green fight another top level fighter before he goes out its been way to long and been putting business before boxing !

Great news for the longterm success of boxing in WA.:deal

Hopefully another star or 2 can be developed in WA over the coming years.

Why do people believe everything Danny Green says. Of course he will bloody well fight again. I wonder if the same people believe that David Haye will retire this October. David Haye will NOT retire in October.

Which was my point also. Retirement for D Green - NNNOOOO. :nono

Potentially opening a new gym and stable of fighters, if true and committed can only be a good thing. :good
