    Good get.

From another article it sounds like Cameron will be on the Green undercard.

This bit from the article is interesting too:

Mundine's manager Khoder Nasser told 'The West Australian' yesterday that 'The Man' was in line for a bout at the end of June in either Brisbane or on the Gold Coast. That will probably be around light-middleweight, four divisions below Green's cruiserweight.

Not sure but it does sound possible....I hope not....I dont want Briggs to get hurt...its possible hes not 100% healthy let alone ring fit.

Briggs needs a few warm up fights against lesser punchers to prove he can mix it in the ring again and hes healthy.

Lets face facts...Green hits hard but not always clean...Briggs is tough, maybe too tough and could cop a battering for many rounds and get badly hurt.

I said this in another thread.

...............Look what Vitali did, was off for 4 years and came back to wipe the floor with everyone so far. And he's 4 years older than Briggs.
His first fight was a destruction of Sam Peter.

If Briggs comes back in 100% shape, and that's obviously the kicker here, I can't see any reason why he can't give Green a hiding.....................

Why don't many think Briggs could do what Vitali did, at a slightly lower level of course?

bull****.Green will outbox the inactive and ring rusty Briggs for 3 rounds but then in the 4th the Hurricane will land a rip to the body like Hopkins v DeLaHoya or Hatton v JLC and Green will be counted out and have an involuntary bowel motion in the ring.:happy:happy
    WAR BRIGGSY:bbb

I'm more concerned about Briggs being safe mate....its well documented that hes not healthy.....so a few warm up fights against lesser fighters to prove hes well is whats needed.

Green could seriously hurt the guy and I dont think we need to see that. :-(

On skill P4P prime its a great fight mate....Briggs could come back and win....sure but at what health risk?

I think they'd know whether he's 100% well before he steps in the ring with anyone for a fight.
He'd know well before in sparring, training etc.

Vitali had all sorts of problems too, of which many doubted his comeback. Ring rust, knee issues, etc.

im very happy to see briggs get a huge payday, and id like to see a decent war between the two. i just dont want to see paul take a 12 round beating. if that starts to happen i hope his corner throws the towel in.

im sure green would trade toe to toe but he is happy to box a little more these days and that wont suit a 2010 briggs.

when does briggs press conference start today?

he wouldn't be doin it if he wasn't A-1, which he is.

I reckon he can take green, just depends how much he will get paid not to, ala drews

adrenal gland or something like that.now hes coming back because the contender rekindled his boxing passion
or he wants to rekindle his bank account.coming back first fight against a world champion even an unskilled but hard hitting one hes gonna have a bad time.even Manikolos said he should have at least 1 tune up before facing Danny.another proud moment in the career of Danny Green.:-(

 i dont like Green but Drews for whatever reason was reluctant to engage i dont think there was a pay off.Drews was a mediocre champion.not Greens fault he ran like a scalded cat for 12 rounds.
