We'll have to hide his car keys before the fight because Drews could very well win.

Hopefully his girl friend, if he has one, is out of town around that time.

Green to win then face briggs in all aussie slugfest with the winner then taking on the mouth mundine.

I like the Aussie fighters. I like Green, Briggs and I'd like to see more of Katsidis. I'm Polish so u can only imagine the criticism I get from my fellow Poles in the general forum when I mention that I had Briggs nicking Adamek in the rematch. I was rooting for Adamek but Paul was raking him with right hands all night. Not to mention the knockdown in the 1st.

Anyway, I was a little disappointed to see Tarver/Green off but I quickly perked up when I found out that the Green Machine would be fighting for a belt. Does anybody else agree that it's a do or die fight for Danny? A fight with Briggs would be always be a big sell but on the world stage Danny's gotta start making good on his chances.

This is danny's last chance 100%.He has already had 3 strikes in big fights.

The 2 beyer fights.(1st bout danny was robbed)
Mundine fight(totally outgunned and outclassed by the mouth mundine)

Not too many fighters get multiple chances on the big stage so danny step up and beat drews or step off and dont come back..

But all in all i hope danny wins and sets up briggs vs green with maybe the mouth mundine getting the winner for a big pay day and huge aussie bout.

Good to see a poster who aint bias and says it how it really is.

This is great news for Aussie boxing. Although I can instantly smell a DQ of some type! Wouldn't surprise me if either guy gets DQ'd. Drews has a lot of ******* in him and he'll remember his last trip to Australia no doubt.

If he gets over the line I'd like to see Green-Briggs. There'd be some big bombs thrown in that.:bbb

No chance of Green fighting Briggs before he fights Choc again. A heap more money in the Mundine return.

 

Rubbish fight though IMO. I would be very dissapointed to see Choc take this fight. I would love to see Australias best against the best international fighters (Kessler/JC for Choc and maybe Woods or Erdie for Green). There was no reason for a rematch here. Would be a sell out on both sides. Choc is wasting his talent IMO.

 

Thanks mate. I snapped the Everleigh St King walking into OPSM. He was walking like a real homie as you can see in the pic. His eye appeared to be 90%, no 80%, no 60% OK, a precise assesment will be after his next fight. He could even be clinically blind depending on the result.

 

Mundine has said that he'll fight Green again, but historically Mundine has shown what he says and what he does are never the same. I'll believe it when I see it. So I think that there's a real chance that we could see Briggs-Green.
