i hope to god its wlodarczyck , purely for the fact he has a belt and is credible. Cameron has semi proved himself but hasnt looked spectacular doing so , but i can see the justification, i do hope its wlod though

This was Tarver's facebook status this morning

"Danny Green insist that i make a decision about our rematch, well the decision isnt mine to make. The option is his, all they have to do is tell me a date and a time i'm there. If Danny Green truly wants a rematch all he has to do is call me like we did the first time work out the details and its on. All this bluffing in the media is not getting us anywhere. DG you have my number..."

i dont think it would be as clearcut as that, both guys have huge egos and would want terms of their own to suit themselves, of course theyre going to butt heads, and try to save face in the media. Btw great to see greeny taking next generation fight night down to bunbury for a show and planning to take it all around rural areas.

Shaw has said the fight is no chance of happening in the US. Tarver concedes it makes more money in oz, particularly perth. So why is danny still talking about fighting in tne US???

Green is ducking the rematch and isnt good at hiding it. He's best off shutting his mouth and moving on. Anyone can see he is making up a scenario where he knows the fight wont happen to save face about not rematching tarver.

    He's a con.

whether or not its true, he genuinely believes that taking the promotion himself and having to deal with everything , worrying about fiscal matters, affected his performance. He does not want it in australia, maybe he wants it in america to get exposure so if he wins he can call out hopkins etc. Or maybe he doesnt want the rematch at all lol

interesting twist 2 fighters arguing over a venue with both wanting to fight in the others backyard

dont think I have ever herad that one before.

I still think after the footy season before the test cricket starts on a sunday lunch time in Sydney beamed back to the state for Saturday night make the most moneyt and is the best bet of the fight happening

Tarver's been a naughty boy and been sprung by his wife shagging some pornstar *****, so he'll be needing some $$$ soon...could be he's waiting for Green to make him a better offer than their first fight...

The fact that more money is to made here in Oz for this fight & the fact that Tarver wants it in Greens home town of Perth confuses me as to why Green wants the fight in the US. The only logical answer is Green has no real interest in a rematch with Tarver. And lets be honest why would he. Another arse kicking & he's finished, period! Cameron in NZ is my pick for reluctant Green. I'd respect him more if he did the rematch with Tarver win or lose than to dog him & point fingers at the same time.
