Would love to see Briggsy do well - but if he goes straight in against Green it's looking like a payday in return for a sound beating. ...hope it doesn't pan out that way.
What a load of **** , Green should be where Briggsy has been for years ....Retired . Seriously as a contest who would pay to see these two ? Don't get me wrong Brigg's fights with Adamek were things of beauty and i respect the man and his career but come on Briggsy retired for a reason in the first place . As for Green ? well lets just say i'm praying for another Epithany ....
I'd definitely pay to see them. To me it's no different to Marquez v Vasquez this weekend. Both are past their best, but you know it's going to be a war for as long as it lasts.
Ippy , Briggsy ain't fought in 3 and a half years it would have novelty value at best , as a contest it would be on par with the Siaca fight .
You know what i meant mate . atsch lets not go down that road aye ? this fight would be **** as a contest like i originally stated , as a "Show" i suppose it would sell , but then again if either were serious about anything other than milking money off their former glories then they would both still be fighting proper fights .
Why should Green be retired? Sure he's 37, but he's far from done. Green may look done, but that's because he was never This content is protected good anyhow. :yep I'm not real big on Green, but to say he should be retired, I can't see why. As for Briggs VS Green, This content is protected , Briggs comes in 100%, I reckon he'll take Green, and it would be a very good fight.
Because fighting the likes of Manny Siaca and claiming you're a world champion @ Cruiser is **** poor mate, if he is serious about fighting on then he should be fighting serious fights , as for Briggsy what do you think the chances are that he comes back 100% ? , Briggsy was a fantastic fighter and i would hate to see a shadow of his former self get in a ring again even if the money is fantastic .
Oh, no question of that, no argument from me. I was just saying that I don't agree that he should be retired. There's plenty of fight left in Green, the wanker should just get real in who he fights. Not sure about this, I'd like to think he and his team are smart enough to only get back in the ring if they are 100%. And if he is, it will be a c r a c k e r of a fight, that you can count on.
havent been on the aussie forum and didnt know about this proposed fight...loved briggsie when he was fighting and hope he does well even if it might b 4 a payday...go briggsie...
