green v drews presser

hate to say it but this fight worries me and Drews might win UD because of his hight and the fact he is known to fight dirty which will **** Green off and we all remember what happened last time he got pissed off with a man named Markus Beyer.

 

i thought green looked a bit tense similar to when he fought mundine
where as drews seemed very relaxed and confident and i think that drews might win a close decision

 

Either way should be a terrific contest, which i will be at live.:yep

 

I was equally as impressed with drews' height as I was with greens car..geeezzz! But nah I'm not sure, the height difference is certaintly visible as predicted on paper but I think green's alot more powerful and his body is going to be right infront of him so I think his head will eventually come down to eye level at some point during the fight and green will hopeful jump on him. As Briggs has been saying, he needs to really bring out the mongrel in himself to win this one, I certaintly hope so.

I originally thought Drews UD, then changed to a Danny TKO, but lately have been thinking Drews is going to take it.

It should be close, but I think Drews' style will be too much for Danny. Hopefully I'm wrong.

 

Danny has looked a lot better since he moved up in weight. The sparring with Gurov,Miller etc. will have helped.Drews has a good record but didn't handle Briggs aggression when Paul was firing. Hopefully Danny will remember that & keep the pressure on. If Drews is allowed to box he will pick Danny off.

im going with Drews by UD. Danny cant adapt to akward styles all that well and Drews has one of the most unorthodox i have ever seen. Briggs is a better tactician than Danny which is why he came away with the W i believe, he figured out how to cut the ring off and countered Drews well in the later rounds. Looking for plenty of holding and dirty tactics which will frustrate Danny.
But if Danny can come on full force and work well inside he has a great chance, but i still think Stipe will take it in a close decision.

It might be better for Mundine if Drews wins so he can focus on moving on with his career.

 

You'd think so, though I have a horrible feeling that they will fight again regardless of the result of the Drews fight. :-(
