If B J Flores is hiding an ugly secret, it isn't beneath his shirt.

"But I'm not Paul Briggs," the chiselled American cruiserweight fires. "In fact, I'm not like anyone Danny Green has ever fought. His usual song and dance routine - it ends with me."

Sitting in the Star City gym after a workout, Benjamin Flores looks, sweats and speaks exactly as you'd expect from a California boy now boasting 24 fights without loss.

Here's a fighter who reckons the Aussie's management is secretly retouching his body - particularly six pack - in promotional material.

The 91kg blaster jetted into Sydney yesterday wearing a black T-shirt plastered with his image above the words And New IBO World Champion ...

It's why Flores wants Australian fight fans to take notice.

Telling The Daily Telegraph he's not only better than Green but nothing like any of his previous opponents - the most recent of whom, Briggs, was last week fined $75,000 for that knockout declared a sham by boxing officialdom.

"The Australian public were cheated that night," Flores continues. "It had nothing to do with Danny but it certainly seems like a lot of Aussies are now against him.

"Honestly, before we flew out of Las Vegas I was stopped by nine guys from right here in Sydney and they were all urging me to knock Green out.

"Then we arrive today and this guy comes up to me and says, 'Watch out for punches to the back of your head - Green can be a dirty fighter'."

So, is he?

"Oh, he's a dirty fighter, definitely," Flores continues. "Likes to bully his opponents. But he's losing popularity in his own country. I'm getting 50 emails and Facebook messages each week from you guys urging me to whoop his arse."

Flores also reopened debate about the legality of handwraps Green used to ice Roy Jones Jr - revealing he would demand at least two officials be present prior to next Wednesday's bout in Perth.

"So we'll be asking that members of the IBO and West Australian Boxing Commission are present when he gets his hands wrapped."

 

I can't believe Roy is still going on with this. How about he looks at his proformance in his last 2 fights and stops blaming the handwraps for his loss when it's very clear to all that his shot and has had his day in the sun.

 

Prepare to be surprised by Green's speed folks :yep

Green's going to make Flores look like Molasses Man with lead feet on Wednesday night.
