Both guys will walk away from this fight with their own National interests providing the major element of profits.

Green deserves gate and PPV in Oz.

Bhop deserves US and Uzbekistan PPVs.

same and i would love to see Danny KO him but Hopkins has aged far better than Roy will study Dannys style and easily UD him.i want to see him come out for the pre fight build up.expect Hopkins to spit on the Australian flag,push and shove Danny pre-fight and at the weigh in.hes not a guy who wants the world to love him..

G'day stiffler I'm not saying the fight will definately go ahead but it isn't dead in the water yet thats for sure.
Danny is trying everything to get this fight done but he's not going to get bent over in negotiations .
Danny sent them a counter offer just yesterday and they have 10 days to get back to him so we'll just have to wait and see.
All i can say is Danny is desperate to get this fight and he isn't refusing to fight because of 500-600k being taken off his purse trust me.
I know everyone is saying why doesn't Danny take 40% but the fact is bhop wants the 2.2 mil from HBO as well as a 50/50 split of the aussie PPV's and gate:fire

b hop looked rusty for the first few rounds but got his timing going in the end.

 

The same question could be asked to Hopkins, the only difference being is that this is significantly more money than his last bout was worth.

If this fight doesnt happen and both fighters go their own ways, who do you see thats more likely to be earning more in their next fight?

B-Hop would have to take on a Klitchko to get close to the kind of money Green is offering him. Chad Dawson isn't going to bring it, and if he did, it'd result in B-Hop getting schooled.

 

That's my feelings too. Green knows he has BHop and Mundine as good money fights and not much after that. Other options would not pay half of what he can make with these two.

If Green was being offered 40% of all the money involved in the fight I think he would do it, no problem.

Anyway, all negotiations with BHop are lenghty and dificult, it could take another few months till it gets settled. Both side know it is their best option.
