Mate the 2 commentators were just to much,Firstly both of them harped on about Dannys last fight being a sham and then they started complaining that Greeny doesn't fight undefeated younger fighters.
Danny just kept his cool and asked them had they done any homework b4 the interview because his last fight was against an undefeated American fighter who was 7 years younger than himself.
You would think they would of shut the **** up after making gooses of themselves but they just went on about how the public demanded he fight a primed Cameron rather than a faded Tarver it was embarrasing to listen to but the Delahoya comment just topped it off

 

Tell you what though, all this general public expectation of Green fighting Cameron gives Green a good measure of how marketable a fight against Cameon would be if he should choose to go ahead with it after fighting Tarver :yep

I was just surprised this fight was getting a lot of negativity on the radio yesterday after it was announced.
Although it started after Barry Michael got on the radio and claimed it was a poor choice of opponent because Cameron would provide a real test for Danny where as the Tarver fight is a waste of time,he even claimed he was bringing Tarver out of retirement rather than fight a legit challenge.
After that the talkback was pretty negative towards Danny however Barry forgot to tell the listeners that he is Camerons promoter/manager who would of got a big chunk of change had the fight with Green gone ahead.:deal

Akermanis was a ****wit his whole career, certainly hasn't stopped him post career either judging by the comments above.

I agree with the comment about hanging up. What a waste of time the whole interview.

 

Danny reckons he could of made more cash by fighting Cameron but chose to take the harder and more fan friendly fight with Tarver.

A little while ago I heard that Green and cameron was very close to being made , obviously a big pay day for cameron and barry to be cut out of the loopp obviously has annoyed barry and now he is having a go at green because of it, I wonder how much barry would put on a cameron if he was to fight tarver I dont think too much
