Yerp, but until the fight is over and it's pretty clear that nothing funny went on, I'll remain a just a little sus.

I'll also be one of the first to give him full credit if it does go without hitch.

fair enough.Danny has been a little dodgy with his bonus
incentives to come in light against Flores and his clause
in the Briggs fight for Briggs to come in at 84kg a huge
6kg below the 90.6kg CW limit.but even if its not at CW
i think it will be on the level because Tarver is wealthy
and wont be screwed over into doing anything he doesnt
    want to IMO.

Deciding to flip flop the very next day is Danny Greens direct fault & evidence he lies through his teeth. His reaction in the ring on the night and his comments in an inteview after the fight also reflect this.

Danny also only gave Paul Briggs 6 weeks to prepare for a so called world title fight and Paul Briggs had not had a fight in almost 4 yrs and retired due to neugological problems. NSW boxing would not sanction this fight and Danny Green directly threatn legal action. I wonder how that is going BTW :nut

Lets also not forget about Dannys managments claims he can defeat David Haye  this shts not that far off what Mundine and his team are doing, claims they can defeat Cotto, Mayweather, its the same sht diffrent smell and yes its SHONKY! Ill give Mundine one thing, he is trying to win real world titles, whilst Danny Boy is just an IBO Junket Queen and will never win a real CW world title.

Perhaps, but whatever is concocted may not have anything to do with weight.
Much of what has gone on since his comeback has had an air of suspicion surrounding it, so much speculation going on by everyone, yet no one really knows the facts.

I'm not saying something fishy will happen, but it wouldn't surprise me if something did.

Pretty average choice of opponent from green, but I guess there's still some hope that tarver, even in his forties,'may just be able to Pound his clumsy melon into retirement.

I Hope Tarver is alot better than his last fight, i watched it today and wasnt really impressed, he can box but he isnt really active in way of punch count and doesnt seem to press the fight that much, if its the same Tarver that turned up the last time round Danny will defeat him imo and it will be a boring fight with Tarver on the back foot most of the time.

Yep, that cricket pitch was always sensational getting tackled on, always knew you were alive after that

Last start Tarver was 46 pounds heavier than he'd ever fought at before - he'd blown himself up into a flabby blob to campaign at heavyweight - hardly surprising he didn't look very active.

The Tarver who'll turn up in 13 weeks time will be a minimum of 21 pounds lighter and probably won't even resemble or perform anything like the flabby heavyweight version.

Didnt he have major money issues a few years ago?

Pretty sure he declared bankruptcy or something.

After Rocky, a few big fights since and his commentating I'm sure he is doing alright now...but he still probably needs the green.
