Fair enough, NSW doesn't want blood on their hands.

 

I heard the problem is with the long layoff that Briggs had. NSW dont want to sanction a fight with someone as dangerous as Green.

 

The only question I have is why now?

They've known for a month or so, so whats happened to change their outlook?

 

fkkk just got tickets yesterday too.. what a pain in the arse...
i know the fights a farce and shouldnt be sanctioned but still i was turning up in hope somehow get to see Briggs back even to 80 percent of what he was vs adamek.. ow well we can always dream

 

Not happy, RJJ had nothing to do with it, It would have been easier to be upset with him rather then a nsw authority. Yes the authority have stopped a couple of mundine fights but they have also let a few go. 3 years out for briggs really isn't that bad, if the Dr says he is OK to fight I dont see the problem. He has the skills and a Dr's clearance what is the problem

I wish they canned this fight. Greens just doing wat Mundine does, Green plays the nice guy act and i dont believe 4 a second. Guys like Kat & Vic get min exposure and fight guys in the top ten all the time. Wen they have been beaten they dont go and fight number 79 in the world 2 get there confidence back.
Green and Mundine r now making a joke out of Aussie boxing its a shame bcause 6-7years ago they were the carring boxing around this country.

Briggs has a heart and the best ****ing Chin Ive just about witnessed apart from Jeff Harding.

I think if anything the layoff would have done Briggs good.
