I think round by round can be quite hard especially in a 'fight' where every round is the same, like here.

When you have a three- five round war and you can only update every 30 secs, all **** happens while you are waiting to post again.

Excellent r by r guys. WEll done.

Sounds like Green deserved the decision albeit an uneventful fight. Surely he won't defend his bogus title against someone like Cameron next ? Thankfully it looks like Green and Mundine won't ever get it on again with Danny fighting so big these days.

Thank christ someone knows what the're talking about!

Danny won at least nine rounds by sheer punches landed.

Flores turned up to fight, rarely took a backward step, but just didn't do enough to win rounds. Simple as that.

You may be onto something Brua, i have a feeling BJ is going to sook like a baby in the media and claim he was robbed, he preformance after the fight thinking he won it deserves an accadamy award or logie lol. We will soon know if he starts mouthing off in the media, personally i hope we never see sell out BJ flores again, i think he is best off going to MMA and getting his azz beat up on for some money because he sure as sht isnt no world crusierweight contender with that preformance.

It wil be funny if he crys and demands a rematch , it may and i emphasise MAY be in the contract, kinda like what happen with Sammy and Mundine, Sammys managment even though Sammy got knocked out initiated the rematch clause in the contract to milk more money from mundine, we could see a similar outcome from this fight. Its a good possibilitie and if in the USA would help Danny alot with exposure and getting some of the bigger names in the ring.

Im just about off to bed, ive almost worn out the skin on my fingertips from typing all night and taking screenshots and what not. This was a much better card than Mundines ill give Danny that much.

SO whos next for Danny, lets wait and see im sure its going to pop up on ESB very soon in the next week or two.

Were you listening to the commentary perhaps? Have a read of the Brit forum (where people scoring arent likely to be either pro or anti Green like here) and all the scores are draw or Green by 1. Flores didnt do enough to really win rounds big, but neither did Green. Just because you are at home doesnt mean that you get rounds for free.

There is no way you can legitimise the cards that the judges produced in this fight. They were total bull****, and should not be accepted by anyone let alone a boxing fan.

If bull**** scorecards like those keep appearing, do you think any major internernational fighter is ever going to come here to defend a title?

Really poor poor performance from Flores. To be honest I expected more from him tonight, especially from someone that looked hungry and eager to protect his "0".

Lol at his comment after the fight saying "I think I proved a point tonight and imposed my will against him". Sure you imposed your will by walking him down & backing Danny up, but someone needs to tell him that, he aint ever gonna win fights by doing absolutely **** all.

I think Green won but not by the wide margin on the score cards. You have to remember that Dannys been paying the IBO sanction fees based on a percentage of what Dannys shows make, he is favourd like it or not and it must be taken from him by the challenger in a convincing fashion, i dont belive the IBO would ever give green a negative decision in a close fight. He is buddies with a few of the officals. Its wrong i know but thats the IBO, one can only hope danny dumps them and goes for a WBC, WBA or IBF title, once he does that even i will cheer him on.

np about the live pics, i try put myself in other peoples shoes and i know if i was you guys id love to be able to see some pics of it so i had a tinker and it worked, usually its a pain in the azz to take the screenshots but i got an app that worked pretty nice tonight and tried it out for the first time. Glad you guys enjoyed thats what we are here for, to enjoy boxing and have a good chat, **** stir and yarn!

ok im gonna shut up now and leave it to u guys, over and out ;)

Just got home from the Petersham RSL after watching the fight. I can't believe the complete unwillingness from both fighters to commit to a fight. The fight between the buff dickhead and his girlfriend next to me when he was trying to tell her what to drink, where to sit and who to not look at was more competitive. The only thing matched by Green and Flores unwillingness to fight was the over exaggeration of the fight by the commentators.
Green could have finished the fight if he decided to step up and throw against the tanned punching bag. And Flores, well he was just a fairy. If only he had decided to take that half a step forward every time he threw a punch.
Luckily the people watching the fight saw many adds for the Katsidis v Marquez fight. Hopefully they turn up to watch it to see what a real fight looks like.

Just got back from watching it at a mates and had Green winning by 4rds. Some rds were tough because BJ was coming forward but not doing enough. Green scored the cleaner shots and more of them...... Flores has a good chin or Danny's probably fighting out of his weight class.

Anyway i'm happy i backed Green at $4 to decision BJ and had $200 on it. :hey

P.S Danny's future iwld be to fight big money fights in Oz guys about 5-15 CW division..... The top 5 wld have his measure, otherwise drop to LHW and have a crack at the top 3.
