I want Flores to win and I think he has all the tools to win but the thing that concerns me is if he is game enough. At the weigh in he looked a little edgy to me and he just gives off the vibe of being a 'flake', with all his talking he doesn't seem very confident to me. Green looks surprisingly good at this weight.

 

So why touch it then in the first place?

His credibility would have risen if he would have just left it alone and the end result would have been not too dissimilar anyway.

You touch it because it's all a mental mind game. I'm guessing Flores has never really dried out before. Green dangles a carrot in front of him and the mind games begin.

Those familiar with the process of "making weight" and all it entails would be viewing the move as an extremely smart one to make.

From Flores' angle, I'm sure that he was coming in his lightest anyway. He looked to me that he was just about on weight more than a week out, judging from pics. He would've seen "the incentives," if indeed they were offered, as easy money.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the weigh in was held something like 30 hours before Green and Flores are likely to meet in the ring anyway.
