green vs hopkin, who'll win??

And he knows damn well that he ****in isn't.

 

I reckon this thread is nothing but a beat up.
All of the things Hopkins has achieved and how well he has maintained his form, surely no one thinks Green has a chance.

If he had a reputation for being Chinny or had looked awful in a few recent fights, then at a stretch I could see a blind Green fan having a dig like this. Unfortunately though, Hopkins is still as tough as ever and has only slipped slightly from his best - the kind of level (with all due respect) that Green could only dream about.

 

of course the haters fail to mention that hopkins would never have been hit by someone with as much power as green. and at 46 it is a BIG ask to take those shots so late in his career.

that is biggest factor in a fight between these two.

 

mate the TS is someone who i've never seen post
here before in the Aussie forum but probably reads
and laughs at us.the fight wont happen. Hopkins got
dropped twice in his last fight so that may give the
Danny dickriders some hope and he did KO RJJ which
Hopkins failed to do but Tarver KO'd a far better RJJ
and was schooled by Hopkins.this threads a gee up.

I think Danny's power is overrated.

He iced RJJ - Big deal, it's been done a few times before.

Pascal and Pavlik have as much power if not more than Danny and Bhop took care of business there so to speak

Green nuthugger.i used to post on KT's forum a bit and
mainly read and he was one of these Green fans who
carried on about how Green was KO'ing Bumdine etc
then after the fight said''oh he wouldnt of beat Danny
before Sullivan dehydration/Toney sparring session''
and now probably uses the weight drain excuse because
Green used it in his''retirement''doco''.
clearly in love.its irrelevant anyway hes apparently

Sometimes I feel like a Green nuthugger.

I actually rate him fairly highly as a fighter, not a boxer with good technical skills but someone who you could throw out on the street and he would clean up 5 guys at once or throw into a cage fight and he would do ok.

 

hes got a pretty good martial arts background aswell, which about 6 bouncers found out about when we was a young bloke in perth one night..
