Yeah...If Mundine does win it would give him a better name OS

I just think Money will be the issue here.....to give Green $5,000,000 Mundine will want the same so is this a $15,000,000 fight?

I dont think it is....I think they will do about the same as last time...100,000 PPV....500 pubs and clubs 35,000 gate....$5m net after costs.

i Just dont see it made at Greens asking price

The latest I heard, and this was yesterday, was that Green was fighting someone other than Choc. ;) Time will tell I guess.

World IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green has put his title and a lucrative share of the purse up for grabs in an attempt to get back in the ring with Anthony Mundine.

Green, who was expected to name his challenger at a press conference this morning, has instead set his sights on a multi-million re-match with

It is doctored. Dont know if anyone remembers but Anthony and Danny didn't weigh in together when they fought. They weighed in separately so obviously they have never had a stare down except for right before the fight with refs instructions. That pic in Mundines weigh in for Soliman II and im pretty sure Greens weigh in with RJ.

    What a great fight.....NOT.

Green should be fighting some top light heavies/cruisers.

Mundine should be fighting the top guys at middle otherwise what was the point of going down there?

Just reported on ABC720 Perth that 'Khoder knows nothing about it and will have a look when he returns to Australia'.

Wait til the opposition aren't ready: Mundine is underweight and Khoder overseas; and offer a very public challenge that sounds too fair to the public to refuse, and perhaps too good for team Mundine to refuse also!

Man v Machine: Green calls out Mundine

    Posted February 11, 2010 15:13:00
    Updated February 11, 2010 15:18:00

Ready for rematch: Danny Green wants revenge for his loss to Anthony Mundine in 2006.

World cruiserweight champion Danny Green has challenged long-standing rival Anthony Mundine to a rematch.

Green last fought Mundine in 2006, losing in a 12-round points decision.

He says he still has not had talks with Mundine or his manager, but says he is willing to fight in Sydney as soon as a rematch can be organised.

Green was flanked by Aboriginal AFL player Des Headland from the Fremantle Dockers, former West Coast premiership defender David Wirrpanda and school kids from Girrawheen High School when he made the announcement.

"I don't see how he could possibly turn this offer down and if he does I suggest he check his passport and leave this country because he'd have to hang his head in shame, especially considering that 10 per cent of the purse will be going directly to the indigenous youth of this country," Green said on Thursday.

"For me personally it's an investment in our future and investment in the indigenous youth in this country.

"To give other young kids a chance to aspire and achieve their dreams that they've longed for, especially in remote areas where kids don't get the access to the type of facilities they need to improve and get ahead of life.

"This I think is what's going to smoke him out of the hole he's been hiding in since he called me out of retirement."

Green lost to Mundine in a unanimous points decision at super middleweight in Sydney in 2006.

Green hung up the gloves two years later but came out of retirement in February last year at the urging of Mundine, who promised to fight Green at light heavyweight in Perth.

Mundine later shied away from the re-match and continued to fight at middleweight but is now facing an offer he can't refuse.

"I starved myself literally for two or three months to make the weight to fight Mundine," Green said.

    "I lost fair and square.

"Don't let Anthony Mundine or anyone around him fool you about the weight division difference, that there's a massive difference.

"All Anthony has to do is not starve himself to make the weight and we're the same, simple.

"I'll lose a few kilos, he just doesn't have to starve himself and we're at the same weight.

"So don't let anyone fool you that there's a massive difference in weight.

"And don't forget he's already said in the press that he'll whip me at heavyweight.

"Now I won't be anywhere near heavyweight, so if he's going to whip me at heavyweight, there's no problem doing me at cruiserweight."

Nah if Green hadn't had he L/Heavy strap into the trash then this fight would have had more chance of taking place @ 168lbs , No way will Mundine fight Green at Cruiser , anyone who thinks they will meet there are deluded Inc Danny .Mundine chooses his opponents very carefully and 190lbs plus Danny Green would shatter his Chin and he knows it .
