sometimes the facts can come from the challenger

so it was Tarver who informed me of the weight

200LBS for his fight with green

He had never fought anyone at 200LB prior to the Tarver fight. Cant really count the Tarver fight mate as he got pumped and owned all but 1 of 9 rounds, it wasnt even reallly competitive and the power and size of Tarver was a huge factor and very evident, hell just one punch of Tarvers that Danny blocked almost knocked him out of the ring

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6-R6TS2xaY&feature=related[/ame]

They let Tarver come in at 200LB simply because they thought he was shot, going on his last fight he was over weight and very flabby, his preformance was one of his worst and he just didnt look right anymore, he never fought for 18 months after that preformance at Heavyweight, Green team thought he was shot and thought that the amount of weight he had to loose in a short period of time would also be a factor in taking away Tarvers power. They underestimated him big time, playing jokes at the press confrence etc, Green said he would cut Tarver to shreds, so confident and cocky of a victory, pumping it up as much as they could because everyone knew Tarvers last fight was sht and he hadnt fought in ages basicly getting paid just to commentate, kinda lke Paul Briggs lol

    Julio Cesar Dominguez - 181LB weight stipulations/Dannyweight

    Roy Jones Jr - 179.5LB - weight stipultions/Dannyweight

Manny Siaca - 181LB - none needed, Siaca wasnt a CW his last fight was at 160LB prior to the Green bout and after the Green bout his next two and last fights were at 160LB.

Paul Briggs - The first guy to tell Danny to stick the weight stipulations up his farkn ass! He was given no incentives and told 184LB for Dannyweight, he just ignored it and come in at 192LB, he knew he was going to make a tone on the betting farce from taking a dive anyhow. And Danny still paid Briggs.

This is when people started to give Danny hell about not fighting a real CW and just digging up corpses and guys who arent even CWs, so he gets pumped up record BJ Flores out here and ..

BJ Flores - 195LB weight restrictions. Wouldnt have made a diffrence anyhow, BJ didnt engage enough but Green had never been forced to fight the way he did his entire Career, he got hurt with real CW power and it was just BJ Flores lol

Antionio Tarver - 200LB = Danny Green KTFO! :good

Danny has never defeated a cruiserweight or any boxer at the cruiserweight limit.

so what you are saying is win loose or draw he fought tarver at the weight limit of 200LBS.

It is amazing that someone says that Green has never fought at a 200LB weight limit

Then when you state he has

even those that agree with you that he has still want to argue

    for the last time

I am not commenting on any other fight

I am not commenting if he should have won or lost

ALL I AM SAYING IS THAT DANNY GREEN FOUGHT ANTONIO TARVER AT THE 200LBS LIMIT

    NO MORE NO LESS

Yet I am sure that someone on here will find a way to form an argument round that comment

even though it is 100% correct

that fact does not seem to come into it

and i wounder why this place sends me crazy

Jim, i think you have taken the comments made about Green not fighting at 200LB out of context, no one is claiming the Tarver fight was under the 200LB limit.

Fact is FACT Jim, Dannys never defeated anyone at 200LB, His first fight at 200LB was against Tarver, we all know that and we all know he got flogged by a 42 yr old who hadnt fought in 18 months. Like Francis im a bit lost as to what your point is mate? That Dannys only fight at 200LB was against Tarver? :huh

Francis has agreed with you and simply put the question to you, WHO has danny defeated at 200LB? he is after all the 200LB IBO champ, or was.

Jims a good bloke francis, trust me on that one. His just trying to bat a little for Danny, no harm done.

Now i think there may be some validitlity to the 192LB claim because Danny doesnt look anywhere near the same size he did when he faced Tarver.

Im fairly sure Tarvers fight at HW was roughly the same time as Green fight with Flores. I think you're confusing it with the Dawson II fight.

Yeah I think Jim's a good poster as well but just unsure why we should all congratulate Danny on fighting once at 200 in his cruiserweight reign.

Ty the fight is no longer at 192 as Wlod's camp has been a shambles for many reasons that we all know.

i worded it wrong, but your correct, it was around 18 months between the Dawson fight and his HW fight. 9 months after the HW fight he fought Danny.

Francis, im a bit suspect, Dannys not bulking up he is stripping. Unlike what he did with the Tarver fight.

Wow, now Ty can guess weight from photo's, incredible. Add that talent to being able to spot when wraps 'look soft'. Amazing.
