yet still no match between the two. I think it can be said that the slower Hector walked away, the slower Chavez chased after him

didnt want no part of that speed endangering that padded record

I know what old school is but what is a cutie?, and i woukd have loved to see the little 5-6 140 lb Haugen dropping guy's who probably outweighed him by 50- 60 lbs, in those toughman contents, LOL..

The beatdown he gave Ray Mancini was disturbing, i remember watching that fight in Reno a really long time ago...

And for anyone to say that Camacho was shot when he faced Haugen, is just plain ignorant, i thought Greg won the 2nd fight too...

A cutie is a guy with subtle tricks and great feel for the fighting game who knows how to win. Not a guy who relies on physicality... i.e. strength or speed or size... It's usually applied to old school guys who fought tons of fights and figured the game out in a different manner.

:goodGreat stuff as always, SSF. What did Haugen say about about Chavez's resume- 'tijuana taxi drivers':patsch:lol:? He was some character. Never boring.

Greg had OVER 200 Am fights. He beat JIMMY PAUL who at the time was a lightweight champion most lightweights didn't want to challenge. He beat Chris Calvin who at the time was one of the hardest punching lightweights-He beat the hell out of Paz in the 2nd fight and truthfully won the 1rst won as well.
B level fighter ? No he fought on an elite level-maybe for not a long time but none the less elite level-2 time champion. He was an A level boxer at one point however brief it might have been. And Haughen was very slick in his skills.
