I would say Haugen by a tough UD, if it's 1987.1986, I think Bramble would take a UD, or a late round stoppage.
Haugen would be able to outpoint Bramble. Greg was cleverer than Mancini and I think he could win on points over 15.
Haugen of Dec. 1986 who decisioned Jimmy Paul would take the late 1986 version of Bramble... Once Bramble was KTFO by Rosario, he never really got back on track... Bramble was shot by 1989 / '90... Bramble peaked in 1984 and 1985 with two wins over Mancini and a TKO over Tyrone Crawley... Bramble was fading fast by 1986... MR.BILL
Both men were very good light weights, but neither were great and could both be beaten by guys who were less than great themselves... Haugen's win over Paul and his life and death battles with Pazienza were classics.. Brambles' wins over Mancini were a display of pure toughness and will power..... I can see Haugen winning a close decision, but Livingstone would make it a tough proposition and might even get the "W" himself.
I think that Haugen would win. Bramble was a tough guy, very strong, but Haugen was pretty clever, very cute, much slicker than most people think. He had an knack of sliding back, being further away than he appeared, and making a guy come up short with his punches and countering. He played hell with Pazienza in the first two fights doing this, and I thought he won both of those fights clearly.
I always thought Mancini was better than Haugen. He hung with Arguello and Haugen could not hang in there with Chavez well.
Haugen was past his best by the time he fought Chavez. If we put the Mancini that fought Bramble in with Chavez he would have been massacred just like Greg was.
