i think this is a great match up, two absolute workmen that put forth volumes of effort over natural ability. i think philip holiday would win a very very close fight in that he would be the one constantly throwing and haugen would more defensive and boxing. haugen i think would win many rounds by his pot shoting jab and straight punches, but at his best, holiday would throw about 100-120 punches a round i think. for a 15round fight i would by the ppv just to see had could finish stronger at the end, both of these guys where machines. holiday very underated with impressive fights against fenech, robinson and a brave effort against mosley (sick or not).

Haugen, at his best, should not be under-rated. He beat a prime Camacho, say what you will about the 12th round deduction. He had those "cutey" skills, excellent reflexes and a fighting heart. Holiday was all over the place, looked good one fight and dive-bombed the next. I take Haugen in a 12UD.
