Theres no shame in losing to Kelly Pavlik, especially when you could be getting paid half a mil for it.

G Leon is a complete dick. He is sooooo biased and an absolute Cotto hater. He cares more about fighters making money than actually seeiing good fights.

He's probably waiting to fight a weak title holder at 168. In all fairness to Green, he's too big at this point in his career to make 160. He is a 168/175 pounder. I don't blame him for not wanted to starve himself down to 160 to fight a killer like KP. I think if the fight was offered at super middle, Green would've taken it IMO. Sometimes you have to look at the big picture.

Seems weird...fighters live to fight, and where else is he going to make 450g's?
Most guys not in line for a shot would jump at the chance for even less money. The exposure and oppertunity may never again present themselves.
Seems like Alan may be a little underconfident....or scared?

You didn't read the article. They tried to call back and beg for the fight.

Greg Leon knows Pavlik will ruin Allan Green. He is trying to milk him for more over a longer period of time - rather than cash him out right now. Pavlik will end Green's career - so he is taking a chance. If it was twice that amount they would take it.

I dont' think so. He tried to call Arum back. I think he was just being a punk like the axeholes that buy into that rapcrap violence ****. Talk big and important and arrogant like your idols of rapcrap music. Gangsta **** or whatever. Found out he was playing with the big boys and cried about it later. Well tried too. Arum wouldn't take his calls.

I don't think he turned it down, I just don't think he heard, he was too busy looking at his feet at the time
