Tucker did not punch hard enough to hurt prime Page.

Page hits harder, is faster, and has an equal chin to Tucker.

Page would have to be aggressive and weigh under 230 to win this.

If Page is overweight, he will lose a decision.

If Page is in shape he will win a decision.

Can we say prime page had a rock solid chin tho, and Tucker wasnt exactly a feather fist really.

Well, he took the punches of Witherspoon and Coetzee. I think they hit harder than Tucker.

Certainly possible. While Greg Page has better wins, his up and down performances are too erratic to comfortably favor him

Page had a superb chin all the way thru to Mark Wills. I have no idea why he suddenly couldn't take a punch at this point, well not against Wills anyway. After he beat Coetzee there was talk he could well have the best chin in the division. He shipped shots from the likes of Witherspoon and Coetzee so easily. There's no way in hell a Tucker would stop him in those earlier years even if he was out of shape. He had man boobs to be proud of against Witherspoon and never looked like getting in real trouble.

Page by decision. Tucker had all the tools in the world, but lacked the "it" factor that makes a champion.

    Tony Tucker in a mismatch.

The "Great" Greg Page is a myth. Within a year of turning pro, at age 21, he barely edged George Chaplin. At 23, Greg Page lost to Berbick. By 25, he'd lost to Witherspoon and David Bey. By 27, he was losing to unranked journeymen like Mark Wills.

There was no "prime" when he was an excellent fighter. He lost throughout his career. Even when he picked up a belt, it was in the midst of a seven-fight stretch where he lost five fights. And the Coetzee title win came in a round that ran more than four minutes long and likely should've been ruled a no contest (or a rematch ordered at minimum).

Other than against the usual suspects, like Ledoux, Ward and Evangelista, Page never really impressed.

Page and Tucker were the same age. Tucker's performances didn't begin to slip until he was in his 30s. Page was barely squeaking by guys and people were making excuses for him by 21.

There's nothing there to worry Tucker.

Took at least 7 years for Tucker to get there. Greg a year and a half if that.

A year and a half to get where?

A year and a half to already have a two controversial decisions on his record?
