Just watched this, what a hard fight to score.
Griffith came forward all night ,Rodirguez coutered him effectively, and landed many jabs ,plus he beat a tattoo on Grifiths midsection.
The verdict went to Griffith by split dec,I gave it to Rodriguez by 2 points ,using the 10 points must system.

    Very close one.

On this dvd was a heavyweight bout between Mike Dejohn and Charley Powell. Both guys, big heavyweights for the times, about 6' 3in, and 210lbs, both came out to have a row.Dejohn landed first.his second punch a sweeping left hook ,had Powell down. Powell got up, ready to rumble and Dejohn went gangbusters at him throwing wide hooks from both hands ,Powell got clipped again and down he went, upright once more, he ran into Dejohn's big shots again and was floored to a sitting position ,for an automatic stoppage. This was in 59 ,a few months after Dejohn had been stopped by Liston, he sure looked like a bomber in this fight, but lost to the best guys he fought and his career fizzled down.
One round, but exciting , and a marked improvement for thrills over the recent Vitali versus,"Just glad to be here Johnson "bore.
