That fight was close and you are just looking like a fan boy to me.

 

Not a beat down by any stretch but loma won pretty comfortably. Judge that had it a draw should be taken outback and shot

 

Eastern European fighters are certainly making their mark but Lord knows the judges will not be doing them any favors. Even that 116-112 score was too close. And after skimming the ESB RBR it appears the usual cast of mouth breathers gave Russell the benefit of the doubt.

 

Don't mind Forza, he is from south Florida.

That was no Lacy domination, but Loma won and it was a good fight. Much better than the crap FMJ has been giving us for years. Props to GRJ for taking on the best.

what pisses me off is the commentary. the first four rounds were very close...could have gone either way. then they went back and forth a couple of times durinng the middle rounds. russell had a good rounds 8 and 9 and seemed to be pulling away, then lomachenko rallied in the last three to take it. but if you listen to the commentary it's like loma was destroying russell from the get go... such bullsh9t. that's NOT what happened. there were long stretches when loma was backing up and backing up and russell was pursuing and pursuing and landing combos. the difference tonight really was the fact that loma was the bigger stronger man in there and therefore able to absorb russells punches better than previous opponents.

 

its not hard to absorb punches on your gloves, dont necessarily need size for that.
