Groves fought Froch and LOST ,, but he had only just left Booth so all the training , learning , techniques , punches , evading methods he may have learnt under Booth were still there , and did him no good , he still gassed he stil got beat .

Booth , is getting the credit for helping Grove get to top British level , and so he should , but now he's getting the credit, and Paddy the blame, because Groves is failing at world level .. How do people know Booth would of done better with Groves , perhaps its just that Groves simply, is not good enough to make that extra step ,, I don't think he is , and i think most of the mistakes and problems he had stem from what he DID'NT learn under BOOTH .

Remember , Groves learnt under Booth , and like i said , its what he does'nt do right is the problem ,, and he has not been with Paddy long enough to be taught more mistakes ,,, with saying that Paddy is not the man for the job either ,, Only one man in the UK with the nouse , the knoledge , and the no nonsence approach needed to change Groves to a world champ ,, AND ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN THAT MAN IS rOBERT mCKRACKEN .

Wrong, thats excatly his biggest issue.

Ive been saying this for ages now. Im actually delighted to finally see my opinion in black and white.

I think i read somewhere that he threw close to, or even over 1000 punches against Christopher Rebrasse. Thats bantamweight level punching. Its impossible for a super middleweight, not improbable, but actually impossible to maintain.

Groves needs either a trainer, or a conditioning coach that reels this over enthusiasm in. Because its costing him at the highest level.

Pretty sure the problems with george. As far back as the glen johnson fight. Remember adam booth being angry at him telling him to reign it in whereas george was wanting to be let off the loose more. George has tried it his own way and found out it doesnt always work out how you thought it would. Time to go back and think again. Groves with the right trainer will beat degale.

Whilst his stamina isn't as good, Calzaghe didn't throw power punches with as much regularity in fairness.

His problem is with his stance....his legs...particularly his rear right leg...not his punches...

Groves connected on 154 of 721 punches, compared to jacks 210 of 506.

When you take into consideration that george loads up on pretty much every single shot, that is a LOT of wasted energy.

I wouldn't say it's necessarily a problem because his stance works well for him in other areas, but I do agree that his stance does put extra stress on the legs and especially for a fight who puts a lot into each shot as well as throws a lot of shots, it will have you blowing out your ****.

Don't think so. My guess is Abel Sanchez. Haven't seen anyone mention the Tibbs' if Groves wants to stay based & train in London?
